AI and recordings
AI suggests. People decide.
Where Amaya uses AI, what it can get wrong, and what happens when Lily interviews someone.
What happens on a call
Consent and recording
If you'd rather not take the interview, tell the investor who invited you; they can follow up another way. The call is recorded so it can be transcribed: our voice provider processes the audio, which is not kept after the transcript is made. The transcript is shared with the firm that requested the interview and kept for up to 12 months, or less if the firm deletes the deal sooner.
Where Amaya uses AI
- Reading decks and data-room files, and listing the claims in them
- Checking claims against documents, public registers and interviews
- Drafting scores, findings and the committee memo
- Running voice interviews (Lily)
What AI can get wrong
AI can misread a document, miss a page or state something with more confidence than the evidence supports. That is why every finding links to its source, and why a person at the firm reads and approves each stage before a deal moves on.
How to use the output
Amaya provides investment analysis, analytical scores and recommendations to support professional investment teams. Your firm reviews the evidence, verifies material findings and makes the final investment decision. Outputs may contain errors or omissions and do not guarantee investment outcomes.
Who processes it
AI model providers analyse documents and transcripts, and a voice provider supports interviews. Our Privacy notice explains provider access and retention. The named list is available to customers on request.
