Amaya Intelligence is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and built by YVL Capital Partners. We are responsible for our own account, website and demo request data. For deal documents and interviews, we process data on the instructions of the firm that uses Amaya; that firm decides how it is used.

Deal documentsabout you

In shortFor a firm's deals, the firm decides how the data is used. We process it on the firm's behalf.

Deal documents are confidential and may contain personal data, such as the names on a cap table. They are used for the review of that deal by the firm that asked for them, and kept separate from other firms' workspaces. Amaya and its service providers process them as described in this notice. If you are a founder, you can also contact the investor directly about your data.

Interviewsabout you

The recording and transcript are shared with the firm that requested the interview. Amaya and its service providers process the data as described in this notice. More in AI and recordings.

Who we share it withabout you

In shortOnly the providers that run the service, for hosting, AI processing, voice and email. Never sold.

Providers process data under the terms of our customer agreement and data processing agreement, which set out their access, any training restrictions, how long they keep data and any exceptions. The full list is available on request; see our providers. Some providers may be outside your country; the data processing agreement sets out how those transfers are protected.

Deleting a deal also deletes its extracted text, search indexes and the records derived from it. A transcript is deleted sooner if its deal or the firm's account is deleted first. Before an account closes, the firm can export its sealed committee records, including to meet its own record-keeping obligations. Deleted data leaves our backups within 30 days.

If an investor controls your data, we pass your request to them and tell you we did.

You may contact us about privacy concerns at amaya@yvlcapital.com. You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority under applicable law, including the UAE Data Office where the UAE federal Personal Data Protection Law applies, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) where Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law applies, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where Canadian privacy law applies. You do not need to contact us first before exercising that right.

Changes and contactabout you

In shortIf something important changes, firm admins hear from us by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.

A shorter notice applies only where an urgent legal or security requirement needs it. Where a change needs fresh consent, we ask the people it affects for that consent; a notice alone is not enough. Questions go to amaya@yvlcapital.com.
